MEMCA Fall Student Leadership Conference

The MEMCA Student Leadership Conference is a great place to connect with and learn alongside other early middle college student leaders from around Michigan. "Rooted in Service, Rising in Leadership" Rooted in community service, rising in leadership ● 8:30-9:00 am - Check In and Breakfast ● 9:00-9:30 am - Icebreakers & Group Art Project (Brick Wall of Empowerment, Tree of Achievement, etc) ● 9:30-10:00 am - Keynote Speaker David Zick ● 10:00-11:45 am - Breakout Sessions (30 min a piece and 5 min walking in between) ○ Breakout 1 - Leadership (theme of breakout room) ○ Breakout 2 - Resilience (theme of breakout room) ○ Breakout 3 - Goal setting (theme of breakout room) ● 11:45-1:00 pm - Lunch ○ Boxed Lunches from 15th Street Tavern ● 1:00-1:35 - Last Breakout session (with 5 min to get back to common area) ○ Breakout 4 - Networking (theme of breakout room) ● 1:35-2:00 - Collaboration time with groups to come up with ideas for project upon return to present in April ● 2:00 pm - Dismissal
