Thank you for your interest in Ypsilanti International Elementary. Our application for the 2026–2027 school year has now closed. Families may still complete our Waitlist Form to be notified if a placement becomes available.
Please note that enrollment to YIES is not guaranteed, and families will be contacted via the provided email if a spot becomes available.

Ypsilanti International Elementary School (YIES) is a K-5 International Baccalaureate (IB) school that emphasizes inquiry-based learning in a hands-on environment. YIES offers an integrated curriculum, motivating students to reach their highest potential and become productive global citizens. Enrollment requires an application and may involve a lottery.
