Washtenaw Community College and select high schools in Washtenaw County have teamed up to offer students hands-on experience in certified nursing assistant skills. Students who are accepted into this program and complete the requirements will earn college credits including a certificate from WCC in Certified
Nursing Assistant skills.

Graduates who earn their WCC Certificate in Certified Nursing Assistant skills will be eligible to sit for the state competency evaluation. Upon successful completion of the state competency evaluation, the student will become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

After graduation, students may be eligible to use their CNA certification as one of the admission requirements for the associate degree program in Nursing at WCC.
