This is our last full week of the 2nd Quarter. Half day with students this Fri for YCS PD.
Your YCHS SIP Team had a very good SIP Workshop at the WISD last Thursday. The SIP Team is excited to bring this information and our 'work' back to you.
For your planning - upcoming Tues Staff meetings:
*Tues, Jan 14 meeting = all together, SIP Info
*Tues, Jan 21 meeting = SLC
*Tues Jan 28 meeting = Dept Heads
Few Reminders:
*No passes during lunch times
*Limit the number of passes that the students have per quarter/semester
*Only the students listed on your roster should be in your Advisory
*Conduct circles in your classes to make sure that our students know that our
number one priority is to have YCHS be safe, orderly, and disciplined. We are
ALL in this together - staff, students, and our community. What does a 'safe,
orderly, disciplined school with a positive climate and culture: Look like?
Sound like? Feel like? What role do we all have in that?
*As we get closer to the end of the semester, make sure that you are running
grade audits for all of the students on your roster. Let's make sure that we are
doing everything that we can to get as many of our students passing as
possible.
