Grizzlies,

We are now in full swing with our PBIS Program! This year we will honor 3 students every Fri AND the nominating teacher. :) Get those Certs in! Reward and Reinforce! Build a positive Climate and Culture!

VERY IMPORTANT - there has been a change in plans - this Friday's YCHS PD Plan = we will be meeting in the HS Media Center at 12:30pm. We are going to run a 'listen and learn' session with our staff, for Climate and Culture purposes. We need to come together and look at where we are now and where we need to go..... this will run from 12:30-3:30pm. We can then go over to the YCHS CTE Auto Center together for the Parade at 3:45pm. The Parade will start at 4:15pm.

(If you are looking to help build a float and/or put a banner together for the Parade, you will need to work on this during your lunch, prep and/or after school hours during this coming spirit week).

WE NEED YOU this Sat evening at the Homecoming Dance! This is great to use for your evaluation.... Adult time to be at the dance is from 6:30-10:30pm, in the YCHS Cafe. The actual dance runs from 7-10pm. ALL HANDS ON DECK. Please plan to be a chaperone at the Dance. We will have a sign-in for all staff in attendance at the Dance. Again, this is great to use for your evaluation! :)

Mon - Activism Day: support your favorite cause

Tues - Social Media Day: celebrity, character, emoji, meme

Wed - Decade Day: 9th Gr 2000, 10th Gr 1990's, 11th Gr 1980's, 12th Gr 1970's

Thurs - Music Genre Day: represent your favorite kind of music

Fri - Class Color Day: 9th Gr Black, 10th Gr White, 11th Gr Grey, 12th Gr Gold

*Fri school day plan:

*1/2 Day, A Day

*There will be no bells. Please stick to the schedule and be highly visible in the halls, keeping our students moving to class

*The Students will go to every hour for 20 minutes to check in, for attendance

-1A 8:20-8:40, passing time 8:40-8:45

-2A 8:45-9:05, passing time 9:05-9:10

-Advisory 9:10-9:30, passing time 9:30-9:35

-3A 9:35-9:55, passing time 9:55-10:00

-4A 10:00-10:20, passing time 10:20-10:25

-The Pep Assembly will run from 10:30-11:45. We will call students down via the overhead system. Do not release the students to the gym until called

*Fri Parade:

-Arrive to the YCHS CTE Auto Center at 3:45pm

-The Parade will start at 4:15pm and end at the Stadium

*Tailgate:

-The Tailgate will begin after the Parade has finished and will run in the Stadium Parking Lot. Hope to see you there

*Fri Game:

-7pm kick off vs Lincoln

*Sat Dance:

-YCHS Cafe

-Adults, 6:30-10:30pm

-Students, 7-10pm

-Student Entry is through the lower level Athletic Entrance Doors
