Ypsilanti Community High School's Radio, Podcasting, and Television Broadcasting program is a hands-on media production class that teaches students the fundamentals of storytelling through audio and video formats. While podcasting is the foundation, the curriculum expands into scripting, on-camera performance, video editing, and creative marketing. Students explore every phase of the production process—from pre-production planning and interviewing techniques to post-production editing using industry-standard software. Each project emphasizes real-world skills like content creation, critical thinking, and digital storytelling, preparing students for a variety of careers in media and communications.
