Ypsilanti Community Schools is excited to welcome families to our 2026–27 Kindergarten Registration Open Houses! These sessions are designed to help parents and caregivers learn more about our kindergarten programs, meet staff, ask questions, and complete the registration process with confidence.
Families may attend any one session—all sessions offer the same information.
YCS has five Kindergarten school programs - Kindergarten Registration and Eligibility flyers for each school.
- Ford STEAM Early Learning Center (PreK-1)
- Perry Early Learning Center (PreK-1)
- Ypsilanti Puentes Multilingual School (K-4th) | Ypsilanti Puentes Multilingual School (K-4th - Spanish)
- Ypsilanti International Elementary School (K-5th)
- Ypsilanti Connected Community School (K-8th)

Looking for Affordable Child Care?
The center is operated by the Ann Arbor YMCA and provides quality, affordable child care services to YCS families! We currently accept children ages 18 months to 5 years-old and offer flexible scheduling and tuition based on income. The center is located within a 5-mile radius of YCS schools.
