ACCE Virtual Academy (AVA)
ACCE Virtual Academy (AVA) provides a flexible online learning option for high school scholars who need an alternative pathway to earn their diploma. Designed for students in grades 9–12, AVA allows scholars to work virtually to complete coursework at their own pace while receiving support from ACCE staff.
Students access courses through an online learning platform and are expected to check in regularly for attendance, communicate with staff, and monitor their progress toward graduation. The program supports students who need credit recovery, flexible scheduling, or a different learning environment.
AVA scholars can also participate in Ypsilanti Community Schools (YCS) athletic programs and Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities, allowing them to remain connected to school activities while completing their coursework online.
In addition, students may attend in-person support sessions, testing opportunities, and school events at ACCE High School. AVA provides a flexible yet structured pathway to graduation, helping scholars prepare for college, careers, and future success.
