Eastern Michigan University and Ypsilanti Community Schools have announced a direct-admission partnership that guarantees college acceptance for eligible high school seniors, helping remove common barriers in the application process.
Students from Ypsilanti International Elementary School rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty. They took part in tree planting activities next door at Prospect Park.
As students gathered around, representatives from Guardian Tree Experts demonstrated the proper way to plant and care for young saplings.
School Media Specialist Jeffrey Klein shared that the experience was a meaningful opportunity for students to engage in hands-on learning.
