Dear YCMS Parents, Guardians, Scholars, and Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Ypsilanti Community Middle School!

I am excited to welcome our returning families back and extend a special welcome to those joining the YCMS family for the first time. Our staff has been working throughout the summer to prepare for an incredible school year filled with high-quality learning, meaningful relationships, school pride, community engagement, and opportunities for every scholar to thrive.

Requirements:

• 2026-27 Athletic Physical (Due by Monday, August 31 to Ms. Griffin or Miss Tia). Parents/Guardians can email copies to sgriffin2@ycschools.us

       Physicals must be dated on or after April 15th, 2026.
