Grizzly Camp Registration Information - 2026

Interview with Tiffany Powell and Lee Van Roth

School is officially back in session for Ypsilanti Community Schools students, but summer didn't keep some students and teachers away from the classroom. YCS's Grizzly Learning Camp gives students opportunities to explore their interests and further their education through hands-on projects, field trips, and partnerships with both Eastern Michigan University and the University of Michigan.

At GLC, summer means hands-on discovery. Guided by teachers, university students, and community mentors, students spend their days building robots, engineering escape rooms, learning to fish, and exploring local college campuses.

Due to the cancellation of Grizzly Learning Camp for today, Bright Futures is also canceled. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone when programs resume.

Grizzly Learning Camp is closed today due to power outage.

We appreciate your understanding. Have a great day.

Have a great time at camp!
