My name is Mr. Naeem and I am the Media Specialist/ Librarian. My goals in this position are...
- To help develop and improve literacy and a love for reading and learning.
- To help develop and improve hard and soft skills needed to be successful in an academic setting.
- To provide and safe, calm, and comfortable space for students read, relax, learn, and socialize in.
- To update and grow our library's collection to be reflective of our students interest & lived experience.
- To support and provide students with resources aligned with their goals and dreams.
As I learn more about our students interest, goals, and the resources available to me, there will be more updates. Thank you Grizzlies.
Book Check-Outs
- Bring your SCHOOL ID. If you do not have those cards; your student ID # or your last name can be used to check out books.
- Students may check out up to 2 books at a time
- Students are expected to keep the books in the building unless permission is given to take the materials home.
Book Returns
- Books are due back (need to be returned or renewed) every 2 weeks (14 Days).
- Books can be returned at any time that your teacher gives you permission to come to the Media Center Or to the Book Return Drop Box.
Library Conduct
- When looking for books - Please put them back on the shelves where you got them; spine facing outward
- With a SMARTPASS from a teacher, students may do class work, read and relax, take a break, play a board or card game, & have some outdoor time in the designated area.
- Students are expected to meet all library social norms and expectations. This is a quiet & calm space that should feel

The Ride (Ypsilanti Transit Center)
Click above to have access to the bus system (THE RIDE) in the Ypsilanti Ann Arbor Area. Busses run all over the city including to the district library.
