8th Graders Visit the NPS River Raisin National Battlefield

Ypsilanti Community Middle School 8th graders’ visit to the NPS River Raisin National Battlefield on May 10th. This is the second of three field trips they will take as part of the Path to Peace: War of 1812 Arts Legacy Project, a partnership of the National Park Service and Artrain.

Next week, on Friday, June 2nd the students will head by bus, ferry and trolley to the NPS Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial at Put-in-Bay, OH.
