Re: NOTICE TO PARTICIPATE IN ATHLETICS & EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

For the parent(s) / guardian(s) of children attending the following off-campus school programs: WIHI, ECA, WAVE, Forest School, Washtenaw Technical Middle College, Washtenaw Intermediate School District (WISD) - High Point and other WISD affiliated Locally-based Programs, this memo is to inform you that the Ypsilanti Community Schools (YCS) has an athletic website up and running!! The website is: http://ypsigrizzlies.com. On the website you will find information pertaining to fall, winter, and spring varsity sports for the 2016 – 2017 school year. We have also attached a list of extra curricular activities available to Ypsilanti Community Schools’ students.

If transportation is an issue for your child(ren) with IEPs or 504-Plans who attend the above stated off-campus school programs, the Ypsilanti Community Schools will provide a means to transport your child(ren) to either “try-outs”, or full participation as an athlete or extracurricular activities participant.
